HOW TO CHOOSE
Three types of protein — which one is for you?
Whey for fast recovery
Whey protein absorbs quickly — ideal within 30 minutes after training. Rich in leucine which triggers muscle protein synthesis. Pure Whey by Bulk is a classic with outstanding protein-per-gram value.
For: athletes who eat meat and have no lactose issues
Vegan protein for plant-based diets
A blend of pea and rice protein provides a complete amino acid profile. Same effectiveness as whey but suitable for vegans and those with lactose intolerance. Naturally sweetened.
For: vegans, vegetarians, people with milk intolerance
Isolate for weight loss
Informed Whey® is a whey isolate with the highest protein content and minimal fat and carbs. Certified batch-tested — ideal for those who want to lose fat while preserving muscle mass.
For: dieters, fitness competitors, supervised athletes
FREQUENTLY ASKED
FAQ — protein for beginners
How much protein does a beginner need per day?
For beginners we recommend 1.6–2.0 g of protein per kg of body weight per day. At 80 kg that means 128–160 g of protein. A protein shake helps hit your daily intake when food alone isn't enough.
When to drink protein — before or after training?
Ideally within 30–60 minutes after training when your body is most primed to use protein for recovery and muscle growth. Whey protein is an excellent choice for this anabolic window.
Is whey protein suitable for women?
Yes, exactly the same as for men. Protein is protein — the body uses it for recovery and muscle building regardless of gender. Whey protein does not cause "too much muscle" — that's a myth. It helps tone the body and boost metabolism.
